Getting into the code
I fell into programming through JavaScript, hooked by the feeling of being able to imagine something and then make it happen on a webpage. What I love most about frontend is the combination of challenges and immediate feedback - every problem feels like a puzzle waiting to be solved.
These days I pick tools based on what I'm building: Rust for performance, Python for AI and quick scripts, JavaScript for web projects. One of the coolest things I'm working on is contributing to the Ladybird browser project - I wanted to understand how CSS works internally, followed it for ages intimidated to contribute, but finally tried and it turns out I can help with fixing bugs and implementing features!
